Now, in the field of the computer, there are all kinds of CPU with different Structured Computer Organization and using. They could be partitioned two sorts by Structured Computer Organization. One is Complex Instruction Set Computer (CISC), another is Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC). Intel's Pentium series Processors are CISC that mainly be used in PC. PowerPC and MIPS are RISC that mainly be used in the field of Super Computer and Top-End Server.This paper introduces one sort of PowerPC based computer system with North Bridge and South Bridge. North Bridge is the center of communication with many high-speed buses and connects CPU, SDRAM, APG equipment and PCI equipment. South Bridge is connected to North Bridge with PCI bus, it has many low speed buses, such as ISA, IDE, USB, Floppy Disk, P/S2, Serial Port, Parallel Port.With its characteristic, this system has two million Ethernet interfaces and one watch-control module. Million Ethernet interfaces support not only Ethernet access but also network boot. Watch-control module is based ISA bus. The system can work normally with it, while it has no keyboard, mouse, and display.This system is a typical high-speed digital system with 133MHz external bus. We must pay more attention to signal integration. In the paper, we also talk about how to deal with signal integration.This paper has three parts. First is basic theory of signal integration. Second is the design of motherboard based PPC750. The end is the design of signal integrity.
