Nowadays electronic technology is developing at very fast speed. Large scale integrated circuit is applied to the electronic systems more and more. Because of the quickly raised systematic clock frequency, continuously shortened signal jump edge and increased integrated degree of circuit, the issues of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility have influenced the systematic electrical performance more and more greatly. They may cause signal distortion, wrongly timing, as well as incorrect data transmission.By simulation and analysis, the hidden problems of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility can be discovered and resolved to the greatest extent before PCB being made. So the probability of the failure is reduced at the lowest lever in designing products, and the working reliability of the system is enhanced. Consequently, the development period is shortened and the cost is reduced. This work was based on the theories of high-speed circuit and electromagnetic field, and it carried on comparatively particular analysis and research to signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility of the high-speed digital circuit. The main contributions are followed:Firstly, in respect of signal integrity, it analyzed the matters that brought on reflection and crosstalk in theory. By the Hyperlynx simulation software of Mentor Graphics, the work simulated and analyzed the terminal techniques and the factors that influenced crosstalk. It also proposed the design measures to reduce reflection and crosstalk, and elicited some instructional conclusions for practical layout and wiring.Secondly, in respect of electromagnetic compatibility, the work separately used electric dipole and magnetic dipole to analyze the common mold radiation and the difference mold radiation. It also carried on the simulation to the two most important measures of laying decoupling capacitance and ferrite bead, andproposed the improved measures of the decoupling capacitance's installation on PCB and the principle to strain electromagnetic interference in high-speed digital circuit design.Lastly, the work gave an example of high-speed PCB design, and simulated the topological structure of the PCB's pivotal networks. In allusion to the problems of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility, it proposed idiographic measures to resolve them. After modification, the design could satisfy the desire of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility.
