The education informationization provides the new chance to the development of elementary education in the areas where minority groups live at a large number, pouring the strong power into the elementary education reform. Researching the present situation of the elementary education informationization in multi-national areas, finding out and tackling with the problems in the development, and seeking the suitable road to the development of the education informationization in multi-national areas according to the actual situation, has the great strategic importance with regard to the elementary education reform and the development in multi-national areas.The author chooses the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture representing the multi-national areas with the hope of promoting the healthy and orderly education informationization in such areas.This research, mainly through the methods of questionnaire survey, the spot visits, deep interview, and so on, has made the comprehensive investigation and study on the present situation of the elementary education informationization in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, summarized the existing question, and proposed a series of countermeasures which suits the actual development in multi-national areas, expecting that it can provide any help to the further advancement of education informationization in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The paper is composed by four parts:The first part is an introduction, elaborating on the topic choosing, the goal and the significance of the study, as well as the research technique, and what's more, having carried on the limits to the related concepts.The second part is an analysis on the present situation and the existing problems of the elementary education informationization in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.In this part, the massive investigation and study have been done according to the present situations of education informationization in the 20 selected schools, based on which, the main problems and the difficulties ,existing in the advancement of the education informationization process of the elementary and middle schools in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, are summarized. The third part is the key part of this paper, proposing the ways to develop the elementary education informationization in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. In view of the problems discovered in the investigation, the corresponding countermeasures are proposed, so as to promote the healthy and orderly elementary education informationization in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.The fourth part is a conclusion. Based on the summary and the evaluation to research results, the author has pointed out this research insufficiency, determining the direction for author's following research.
