Actualizing the project of the middle and primary school's modern distance education is a significant strategic action to promote the rural education's great-leap-forward development, It is an important way to solve the problems of the rural education such as shortage of teaching resources, lack of teachers and low quality of education, and an inevitably choice to achieve rural education fast development. Nowadays it needs informationalized education in minority areas more than that of cities, Specially in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, being long restricted of economy, environment, humanities and so on, there is a huge disparity comparing the developed area in teaching condition, education resources, teacher's abilities, teaching quality and so on, for example, low levels of the whole basic education, slow development of the school and extremely low of the information education level. Therefore actualizing the project of middle and primary school's modern distance education conforms the present realities of the minority education of the middle and primary school.Based on the reality and theoretically practical work, closely related to the title of 'A Research of The Present Condition and Concerning Strategy Of the Modern Distance Education in Middle and Primary School of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture', this research paper has adopted different kinds of forms such as: collecting documents, conversations, interviews and questionnaires, and it has draw the conclusion from the present condition of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture that actualizes the project of middle and primary school's modern distance education, found out the factors that hinder the project, combining the information education level and actual condition of the basic education of Gannan, this paper proposes some of the feasible strategies and suggestions. This paper consists of four chapters as follows:Chapter One: A statement of the background, significance, purpose and the design of the research.Two: This Part has been expanded an investigation of Gannan included thequantity of software and hardware of educational resources, information technology literacy and the ability of grasping and using about modern educational technology of the teacher, the state of constructing, applying and combining education resources, the present condition and demanded situation of teacher who participates in education technique training, thereafter this part also has made a comprehensive analysis on the result of questionnaires.Chapter Three: Strategies and suggestions have been illustrated in accordance with the influential elements that hinder the project of modern distance education. The first one is to construct a modern distance education system that adapt the actual education condition of minority. The second one is to strengthen the cooperation and relationship with the local universities. The third one is to strengthen the teacher's training about the ability of applying education technique. The forth one is to exploit the minority education resources and set up the storehouse of the minority education resources. The fifth on is to strengthen the material construction of the minority and to advance the development of modern distance education.Chapter Four: This Part is the summary. The author points out the achievements and deficiency of the thesis, then states the direction of further research.
