Psychological contract, an underlying contract between the employees and the organizations, is a focus of research in both domestic and overseas academic circles. The medical profession has a unique industry characteristics. According to the process of economic globalization and health care reform, medical staff burnout gradually emerged. Therefore, it is very necessary to study the status of psychological contract and its impact on job burnout of knowledge workers in the public hospitals.Through access to a large number of domestic and foreign literature related, the job burnout of knowledge workers in public hospitals has been measured with Maslach Burnout Inventory generic version (MBI-GS). Based on the characteristics and requirement of knowledge workers in domestic public hospitals, with reference to the already-exist psychological contract dimensions, a questionnaire was designed to investigate the situation of psychological contract of knowledge workers in public hospitals to study the factors that influence the job burnout of knowledge workers and generate advises for human resource management in public hospital.By analyzing the formal questionnaire in Spss13.0. Results:The results showed that the scores of emotional exhaustion and cynicism in the young workers were significantly higher than that in the older. reduced personal accomplishment in the undergraduate education of medical personnel was lowest. Emotional exhaustion, cynicism and reduced personal accomplishment in the Graduate student of medical personnel were higher. Emotional exhaustion and cynicism were higher in the medical staff with a shorter work Experience than the ones with a longer work Experience. Emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment were the highest in the doctors with the intermediate title. The recognition of deal dimension from married knowledge workers is higher than that from unmarried. The recognition of team dimension from older workers is lower than young ones. The recognition of relationship dimension from long work-year workers is higher than others. Junior technical workers have the highest figure on recognition deal dimension. Knowledge-based staff hoped that there was not only a reasonable amount of wages, and even hoped to be fully respected, They hoped there was a harmonious team, as well as an effective platform provided by their hospital for sharing information and knowledge, to be provided a broad development space.It is suggest to put forward a"people-oriented" management model, to perfect the pay and benefits, to improve the working environment; to sound rules and regulations and to implement the employee assistant Program and so on.
