With rapid improvement of medical technology, the connotation and the extension of nursing have been extended gradually. People demand more health and need more request to medical staffs' knowledge and skills. The effective methods can strongly enhance and guarantee medical staffs' whole quality as well as service quality and accelerate nursing development and maintain hospital healthy development. These methods include discussing and studying nursing staffs training systems and modes, setting up and improving stratified standardized training modes. After basic training, nurses have systemically accepted standardized planned training and assessment, which can update nursing knowledge and accelerate the growth of nursing staffs.ObjectiveAccording to current situation in the hospital, some measures should be taken which can not only wholly enhance nursing staffs' knowledge and skills but also exert different level nursing staffs functions. These measures include training system which is stratification and standardization based on present and future demands of our hospital developing. Stratified management is used for clinic nursing care technique and their work responsibility. The special training and guidance for nursing staffs are needed from their early work to the whole process of career according to hospital work condition. We have adjusted nursing staffs structures according to their characteristics and position demands. We erected and improved nurses training modes oriented by position demands, elevated nursing staffs specialty skills, enhanced nursing care quality.MethodIn this study, we combined present nursing work with literatures and questionnaires and interviews. We analyzed nursing staffs training status quo, found out different level medical staffs training demands, present questions of medical staffs training and affective factors and aspects that need improving. We set up standardized and stratified training system of nursing staffs based on all of these methods.ResultsThe study results showed that we pay more attention to nursing staffs training work in Daqing Oilfield General Hospital. Most of nursing staffs consider that there is a relatively integrity nursing staffs training system. The contents of training are combined with practical work and development of hospital. The qualified teachers and equipments could meet with the basic demands of the training.The degrees which leaders pay attention to the training were appraised by different technical title nurses. There was significant difference. The study showed that leaders pay more attentions to lower technical title nursing staffs training. The 66.5 percent nursing staffs thought that training is necessary but lack of time, which was the main reason that affected medical staffs training. The style of training focused on convergent training, consultation of nursing care, special lectures, experience exchange, self-study at amateur time. The ratio was low in attending advanced studies and meeting or visiting or inspecting. They also were eager to communicate with colleagues and broaden speciality views.Nurses over 32 percent need more training than nurse in charge in elevating skills. Nurses with different length of service hoped to obtain different training contents. Nursing staffs who had low service time hoped to obtain training about emergency skills and nurses operation skills. In different departments nursing staffs had different training demands. More nursing staffs agreed that stratified training according to service time and positions. The most acceptable training styles were present showing, which accounted for over 69.1 percent in the nurses of investigation. The more favorable teaching styles were mimic training and media training, which accounted for 57.5 % and 51.4 %, respectively.ConclusionThe nursing staffs training is the effective approach to enhance their quality and upgrade work quality and promote hospital development.Stratified and standardized training on the whole nursing staffs could meet different level staff needs and promote nursing staff development.Hospital provide variety training, increase some chances including study that is free from work for clinic nursing staffs and advanced study outside and exchange with colleagues. All of these training broaden nursing staffs' knowledge and elevate their specialty level.The conception of training all life long should be considered because nursing cares are experienced and practical work. Nursing staffs enhance their all-sided ability which can satisfy patients increased demands and need of hospital development.In order to ensure nursing staffs' training, effective measures should be taken such as adding number of nursing staffs. These measures decrease work burden of nursing staffs and resolve conflict of work and study.
