Agricultural resource, including natural resource(land,water,climate,biology,etc), artificially physical and chemical resource(fertilizer, seed, etc.),human resource.financial resource and information resource,is the whole appellation of all resource essentials participating agricultural production in nature.social, economic and technical conditions.Agricultural resource is the foundation of agricultural production,and optimaized alloction and rational utility are the key way to solve environment,resource,foodstuff and population problems. Agricultural resource is the substance base and ultimate grantee to keep agriculture.country and even whole human been alive and developmentally.lt becomes more and more worst in global resource and environment all over the world.Especially from the last half of 1997, Asian economic crisis.coming from south east Asia and almost affecting all the world,challenged the global economic incorporation and resource communion.And at the same time in China, agricultural resource, especially agricultural nature resource,is absolutely enough but relatively poor per person;land and water resources are also not rich.These have become the primary limiting factors for sustainable development in Chinese agriculture and even the country. Though researchers comimg from many fields have work hard on it for a long time.but this problem don't get any new content and excited progress until rapid development and widely adopting of agricultural remote sensing and information technologies(including geographic information system(GIS), global positioning system(GPS) and network technology) in the end of last century.Remote sensing can provide quickly target's real-time information and capture it's change.GPS can site target's position rapidly.modern network technology make it possible to quickly transmit information and share great capacity data.They are playing a more and more important role in agriculture.Now it is proved that remote sensing and information technologies are widely and deeply being applied or applying in agricultural information acquisition,resource management, crops growth monitoring and yield estimate,natural disaster monitoring and early forecasting, environment pollution evalution,descision support and consultation and precision agriculture,and begain to do a great good to solve these four agricultural problems.Modern agriculture zone which came into being in early 90s of 21 en is regarded as a very good attempt and exploring to ultilize agricultural resource efficiently and reasonably and apply agricultural hi-technologies.
