In recent years, the nutrient management and fertilizer recommendation technologyfor achieving Precision Agriculture has become a hot topic in agronomy, ecology andedaphology. For the issue of nutrient management in tobacco field and fertilizerrecommendation in subareas, applying the GIS technique can not only realize theinformation-based and scientific precision fertilization that is adaptable to soil fertility intobacco planting, but also provide the foundation of soil fertilization, fertilizer planning intobacco-growing area and the structural adjustment of tobacco specialty fertilizer. Besides,GIS can give the guide of balanced and effective fertilization for farmers to increase thetobacco production and improve the quality of tobacco, and simultaneously have a greatsignificance on efficient utilization of resource and energy.First of all, this system is mainly through the soil survey data, provided by the ShiCheng’s research, to determine the soil suitability evaluation unit of the town. Then, theanalytic hierarchy process (AHP) and membership function model of suitability evaluationof equivalent model are established on this basis. Also, database of planting tobacco soilnutrient and basic vega is constructed by using ArcGIS Engine9.3software platform.Second, according to the domestic and overseas study of tobacco farming fertilizerunit,it determines the county’s soil adaptability evaluation unit. Combined with tobaccogrowing situation of Shi Cheng in recent years, it use the C#programming language andsecondary development interface provided by ESRI’s ArcGIS Engine in the platform ofthe.NET Framework to design the fertilizer recommendation model recommended by thetarget yield method,as well as the system for tobacco nutrient management and thefertilizer recommendation based on GIS.Finally, based on the system design, the writing and debugging work of each functionmodule programming language is completed and then realizing the man-machine mutualscientific management of tobacco fertilizer research. This has provided the safeguard forShi Cheng’s high-speed economic development. Moreover, it provides the timely, accurate,and comprehensive soil information and decision-making for the further study of thedivision of the tobacco growing areas in JiangXi, as well as the application of tobaccoproduction.
