Research On Key Technology And Its Application For WebGIS-based Digital Forest Management Platform

This text is a part of JiangSu province subject "Study on Forest Resource Dynamic Monitoring and Management System Based on 3S and Web Technology in Jingsu Province" (BG2005328) , which provides an internet stage for the publishing, using and management of the forest recourses dynamic monitoring information.With the rapid development of distributed computing technology, object-oriented component technology, network technology, and the popularization of internet day by dayin social life, GIS combined with WWW——WebGIS has presented and becomes the mostimportant direction of GIS development at present. The forest is recycled material, as well as the important mainstay protecting and improving living environment. It is an important developing direction and has significant realistic meaning to develop forest information project and realize the opening, shareable through the modern technique such as database and WebGIS.Centring on above-mentioned themes, this paper carries through the study of WebGIS application. Compared to the existing different WebGIS software technology, this paper further discussed the system structure of WebGIS, realization technology and relevant knowledge. Through analysis, The B/S system structure model was proposed and the system was reasonably divided into application layer, logic business layer and data service layer. From technological aspect ArcIMS can provide some functions for forest information release and make out the application and the feasibility of ASP expanding system. Meanwhile, this paper proposed the solution of the digital forest information system. And from the characteristics of system the paper had proposed the overall design of the system. Combining the systematic function, the management method and the rational structure of the database, the combined way of attribute data and spatial data was proposed.
