To Master the information of soil and fertilizer is a scientific and reasonable regulation for agricultural production. Fertilization at home and abroad is considered a relatively mature fertilization. Using computer technology to develop computer formula fertilization system proves to be more effective. The development and wider application of network technology promoted fertilizer formula from basing stand-alone technology toward network.This paper is based on the analysis of WebGIS fertilization system, building a database model, using open-source library implementation SharpMap to construct WebGIS. On the basis of structural analysis of WebGIS, using the client-response as to open the cache and data compression and transmission switches, optimizes the data transmission time, thus enhancing the performance of WebGIS. For soil fertility and fertilizer requirements of difference, based on soil testing, fertilizer testing and other data, the system created relevant database tables, and provided the basic data of soil fertility evaluation and Fertilization. Soil fertility evaluation of the improved BP algorithm is used to achieve efficiency and precision. Fertilizer is achieved by nutrient balance method, through WebGIS can visually check the properties of block data, soil fertility conditions, demand information and recommended nutrient formula data, and soil nutrient data through the network of effective management.On the basis of the soil, crop, fertilizer, price, the WebGIS-based Fertilizer System was developed based on the soil testing and fertility evaluation and principle of nutrient balance through technique of relational database, fertility model and Visual Studio 2008. The System approached the accurate quantitative for N, P and K requirement in normal condition. Additionally, A brief and simple interface are easy to use which are the features of the system, besides, some technical references are provided for other agriculture information system.This usable and high technique system test run in farm at present, was promoting the farm modern management level. Since the farm's application this system brings the benefit for the farmers, and also plays a positive role in"the digitized modernized agriculture". At the same time it has laid the foundation for the related following topic's work.
