The Application Research Of WebGIS In Distribution Automation System

WebGIS is becoming the inevitable trend of GIS's development. The application ofWebGIS will provide the developing function of distribution automation system tecnicalsupport and guarantee. This paper compares several kinds of WebGIS constructtechnique from the aspects of principle and charactor, and analyzes the requirement ofthe distribution automation system function based-on WebGIS. According to thecharacter of the system,it selects the suitable method and software to design out the thewhole framework of WebGIS distribution automation system, which has niceextensibility and open. It makes a detail research in the integration mode of WebGIS andSCADA system, as well as the distribution automation system function module based-onWebGIS. It designs the object oriented database, and realizes to use the same database tomanage the spatial data and the property data. A new arithmetic for the best maintenancepath based-on spatial direction is defined, realized and proved. At last, it uses ArcIMS toconstruct an experimental system, realizes parts of key function,and puts this system onthe Internet to prove the system's feasibility.
