Scheduling is the key process in the CIPS, which is the link between management and control. According to the characteristics of the process industry, firstly, the architecture of CIPS and the function of scheduling are introduced, the relationship between scheduling and planning is noticed, the research and application conditions are described. Then, different methods used in the scheduling problems are introduced and compared. Meanwhile their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed in details.Oil production and storage, with great scale and complex technics, is one of the typical processes in the process industry, mathematical model is the emphasis in the scheduling research. In view of the refinery practice, mathematical programming technique is used to construct the scheduling model, heuristic rules are applied to reduce the constraints and variables number in order to simplify the problem. To choose an optimization tool to get a satisfied solution in short time, to ensure the scheduling model can be used in the practice and made support for the decision of oil production and sale, is the main objective of this dissertation. The main works are as follows:1. Based on the analysis of refinery process and oil distribution, decomposition policy is put forward to divide the system into four parts: crude oil storage, refinery production, product storage, product retail. Each part is relatively independent and can be run alone, meanwhile, all parts can be integrated into a whole system because of the affiliation with each other. Scheduling problem of the four parts are discussed separately, each optimal solution is acquired to ensure the whole system optimization.2. Multiple production schemes of refinery process are fully considered, a uniform scheduling model is presented based on unit process, crude oil mixing and oil blending, which is influenced by each other. The results of unit process are used as the constraints of crude oil mixing and oil blending. The consumption and balance of materials and energy are considered while building the scheduling model, the mixed integer scheduling method is applied to unify crude oils, units and products totally, the results can be provided for crude oil storage scheduling and oil storage scheduling.3. With the mixing ratio calculated from the production scheduling, a mixed integer programming model of crude oil storage scheduling is presented based on the crude oil inventory and input planning, the relationship between crude oil storage in the port tank and in the refinery tank is fully considered. The model is simplified by heuristic rules to be solved easily and the results can be used for the crude oil management.4. With the blending ratio calculated from production scheduling, a mixed integer programming model of oil storage and transfer scheduling is proposed based on the oil inventory and output planning, the problem of oil storage both in the port tank and in the refinery tank are solved, the results can be used for the oil management. Model scale and algorithm complexity are also discussed in details. In order to decrease the scale and difficulty, a series of heuristic rules are adopted during solution.5. The randomicity and character of oil retail is fully considered, detailed analysis is made and models are constructed from the level of scheduling and planning. For planning, oil purchase and oil sales are mainly considered and a linear programming model is presented. For scheduling, distribution time window is put forward and vehicle assignment model is established. Results show that oil distribution problem can be solved effectively.With the study of oil production, storage and transfer scheduling, whole logistics from crude oil input to crude oil refining, then to product output, ultimately to oil distribution is reappeared in this dissertation, which makes a good basis for the realization of scheduling system and provides a good decision for managem...
