As a traditional industry especially small and medium sized textile enterprises, then-survival and development are faced with increasingly ordeal with economic globalization and integration deepen. Because of the gap of traditional production management methods and modern management methods, textile enterprises need to introduce high efficient information technology to improve the corporate image, increase employee motivation, improve management thinking and improve the competitiveness of enterprises.As the background described above and base an enterprise’s actual production and management requirements, a suitable production management information systems is developed. Orders’classification audit, production dynamic tracking and control, combination and separation, automatically scheduling and machine scheduling and monitoring are achieved through the successful implementation of the system. The enterprise production management level has been greatly improved.The current production situation of an enterprise is analyzed in this paper firstly. Base on this situation, the company’s business processes and business forms are summarized. And systems UML modeling is done. Then the functional modules and system modules interfaces are designed based on system modular design method. A reasonable system process is designed according to the company’s business processes. And then complete the system database design. The flow control method of the system design process, orders’combination and separation, order scheduling priority algorithms and machine scheduling method programs and the key issues of machine monitoring are introduced in this paper. Finally, each module of the system is introduced with the combination of the system main interface.The production management information system which designed in this paper is running well in the enterprise currently. The system meets the needs of enterprise production management, and their production management efficiency has been significantly improved. Thus indicate the importance of implementing the comprehensive information technology in textile enterprises.
