ERP system integrated with information technology and advanced management, becomes running pattern of the modern enterprise. It reflects that the time requests enterprises mix the resources reasonably and maximized the created public wealth. ERP is the headstone for enterprise to survive and develop in the information age.Production scheduling system is an indispensable core of ERP. Scientific scheduling method is the core content and the essential technology of advanced management. Its duty is to determine the related resources on related equipments processing order and the process period, guaranteeing that it could achieve the most superior production goal under the enterprise limited resources restraint.According to the current characteristics of the production in dip-dye production, such as large amount of product kinds and production equipments, the math model of the production scheduling which denotes these characteristics is established. Based on this model, this paper applies Genetic algorithm with the chromosome representing the production task assignment priority order to solve the problem about dispatching multiple task to multiple vat and obtains the most optimum strategy. This scheduling method applied to lots of production tasks is fast and effective. The content of this paper are as follows:1. Some basic concepts of modern enterprise informationization are summarized at beginning. Then the importance of the production system in the entire enterprise informationization is explained. Some primary kinds of production are discussed, and several most popular production scheduling methods at present are compared as well.2. Taking a real dying enterprise as the topic background, the paper analyzes the production characteristic of the dying enterprise, studies the dying productions scheduling, and proposes its corresponding mathematical model. According to request and the question existing in the scheduling, aproduction scheduling algorithm is designed for dying production process based on the genetic algorithms. And its simulation proves its effectiveness and practicability.3. Development and technology of System are discussed. Database design method and the step, including the database design tool PowerDesigner, are introduced. The design and development of all modules and sub modules in a real dying enterprise information system are illustrated. A information management system facing dying production process is designed and implemented.
