Study On The Status And Factors Of Knowledge-Attitude-Practice Of Intensive Care Unit Acquired Weakness Of Nurses In Intensive Care Unit

Objective:The study is to investigate ICU nurses' knowledge-attitude-practice(KAP)status about Intensive Care Unit Acquired Weakness of all tertiary hospitals in Jiangxi provence,make an analysis on the factors associated with nurses' knowledgeattitude-practice,and improve their knowledges,attitude,practice of ICU-AW on this investigation.Finally,we wish provide some experience and driection about this area.Methods:1.On the basis of literature qualitative research,draft the KAP questionnaire,Delphi method was used to revised it,and evaluate the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.2.250 ICU nurses were randomly selected and questioned to collect the datas.The questionnaire included nureses' demographic characteristics,KAP status of ICU-AW.Spss20.0 software was used to establish the database and analyses.Results:1.The KAP questionnaire of ICU-AW consists of three demensions and 31 items.The questionnaire has good reliability and validity with internal consistency cronbach alpha 'value of 0.96,the test-retest reliability of 0.87 and content validity of 0.92.2.The respondents' total average scores of knowledge dimension,attitude dimension and behavior demension of ICU nurses' KAP questionnaire were32.18±5.16,30.28±3.96 and 26.06±4.53 respectively.3.There was a significant difference(P<0.01)among nurses' every dimension scores because of their age,position,the ICU working times,education degree,organisation and profession title.All of the three dimensions were statistically significant,(P<0.05).4.According to the multiple liner stepwise regression analysis,the main impact factors of I CU nurses' knowledge-attitude-practice about ICU-AW were the education degree,profession title,the ICU working times and employ form.5.There are positive correlations among respondents' knowledge,attitude and practice about ICU-AW,the correlation coefficient was 0.32,0.33,0.33,respectively.The difference was statistically significant,(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The self-desinged questionnaire has good reliability and validity,which can be objective and accurate to assess KAP about ICU-AW.Questionnaire's reliability,validity is good for investigate the KAP status of ICU-AW.2.The ICU nurses' level of knowledge-attitude-practice about ICU-AW was lower in tertiary first-class hospital of Jiang Xi.There are many factors which impact on the KAP about ICU-AW.We recommend hospital administrators to gradually establish a standardized ICU-AW knowledge systems,and further strengthen training of prevention ICU-AW ICU,to improve ICU nurse of ICU-AW cognitive and practical abilit.Therefore,to promote the rehabilitation and quality of patients.
