Against the background of complex economic forms,the overall economic form has been greatly affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 since 2020.In this context,it is crucial for most businesses to be sustainable so that they can face the challenges of the future.In the process of sustainable development,companies must translate strategies into actions and results.Performance management is an important auxiliary factor in promoting conversion.Today,the new generation of post-90 s employees in the company have gradually become the backbone of the company’s development.This group of employees is characterized by individuality,knowledge and diversity.They are no longer limited to the underlying physiological and safety needs,but more emphasis on the desire to pursue the realization of self-worth.Therefore,in order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and achieve sustainable development,we need to improve the existing performance management system to achieve the goal of motivating employees and focusing on strategy.This research is based on the theory of OKR(Objectives and Key Results),and we take AY company as the research object.This research further finds out the problems existing in the process of actual application of performance management by the company,through the methods of questionnaire survey and in-depth interview.And on the basis of the current situation and existing problems of AY company,we will conduct an in-depth analysis.This paper will discuss the following aspects: methods for formulating effective and measurable goals,setting scientifically reasonable and quantifiable key results,tracking and reviewing measures to optimize the performance management system.Through the introduction of OKR into the performance management system of the enterprise,the enthusiasm and initiative of employees can be improved.This can stimulate the individual creativity of employees,so that employees can better create value for the enterprise.This paper takes the introduction of OKR performance management system in AY Company as an example,and we further explore the implementation of optimized performance management.This paper combines theory and practice to achieve corporate strategic goals.At the same time,this project also pretends to provide reference for other enterprises with this problem in performance management,so that they can get help in the process of sustainable development of enterprises.
