Research On The Effectiveness Of Fuzhou Library Space Service From The Perspective Of The Third Place

In China,public library is the basic facility to provide public cultural services to the public,and it is also an important carrier to protect the rights and needs of public cultural services.Since the new century,with the vigorous development of modern high and new technology and the high popularity of the Internet,people’s material life needs and spiritual and cultural needs have changed significantly,and their information acquisition behavior and reading needs tend to be diversified,which has led to the library from paying attention to "library status and self reading" to "user needs and innovation space".Therefore,how to optimize the library space and improve the service quality level,better attract and meet the general public,so as to regain the social status and value of the public library as the largest cultural information center,so as to effectively contribute to the construction of China’s public cultural service system and socialist cultural power is extremely important.With the establishment of the service concept of "people-centered",the public library began to think about the function of culture and entertainment and expanded into a gathering and exchange place.It is in this development situation that "the third place" began to become an important discussion direction for the development of public library.From the perspective of the third place,this paper makes a field questionnaire survey on the space use of different types of users and the service impact of all aspects of life in Fuzhou library,and demonstrates the correlation between the space service of Fuzhou library and the actual use of users,so as to see how to reposition libraries and other public places,and strengthen the attention of county and municipal libraries in developed areas Provide "people-oriented" high-quality services and extend social values.According to the analysis of the questionnaire results,the existing problems of Fuzhou library are as follows: the spatial planning is not scientific enough,and the attention value of vulnerable groups is not high;Space activities are provided in one direction,and the service object is not targeted enough;And the insufficient construction and guarantee of space resources,so as to sum up four countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of space service of Fuzhou Library: timely adjust space zoning and strengthen its own publicity;Enrich the theme of space activities and provide personalized service forms;Strengthen the management of collection resources and build characteristic digital collection services.Only by integrating "people,resources and space",keeping pace with the times,constantly learning from practical services and Innovating Services in learning,can public libraries highlight the due role and value of their services,meet people’s needs and aspirations for a better life,roll up layers of waves in the wave of the times of continuous development and undertake a wider range of social morality.
