Research On The Intelligent Service Of Public Libraries In China

In the era of rapid development of information technology,traditional public libraries face new challenges in their development and construction.The information needs of users are constantly changing,and the way to obtain information is also diversified from simplification.New technologies such as RFID technology,iBeacon technology,VR technology,AR technology,big data technology and cloud computing technology are increasingly related to the services of public libraries,forcing public libraries to evolve and to adapt to changing conditions and changing users.Get used to customizing library services.Public libraries can only actively respond to the opportunities and challenges brought about by the rapid development of information technology and network technology by changing the traditional service content and mode,enhancing the intelligent process,and providing intelligent services to users.When the public library is transformed into a smart library,it should be user-centered to meet the individual needs of users and provide innovative services to users.This requires public libraries to have innovative thinking that keeps pace with the times and to drive service innovation with technological innovation.Only by paying attention to service innovation can public libraries continue to cater to new demands,new services and new platforms emerging in the development of libraries.As a new form of library development in the future,the intelligent service of public library will become a new practice of library innovation and development.This paper uses the methods of network research,literature research,comparative analysis and other methods to study the wisdom services of public libraries in China,which are divided into the following aspects:(1)Explain the research background and significance of this paper,introduce the research status of the wisdom service of public libraries in China and abroad,and finally put forward the innovation points.(2)Explain the connotation of the public library's smart service and innovative service,and explain the relationship between the two.Then introduce the technical support of the public library's smart service: RFID technology,iBeacon technology,VR technology,artificial intelligence technology,big data technology and cloud computing technology,finally explained the necessity and feasibility of public library smart service.(3)Using the literature survey method and the network survey method,13 first-level public libraries were selected as samples to investigate the development status of the public library's smart service model,and the smart service model of public libraries in China was classified into four.Aspects: personalized smart services,interactive stereo services,space re-engineering services,virtual experiential services.The effects of these smart service model practices are analyzed: the intelligent development of public libraries in the eastern region is more developed,the smart services of public libraries are different,the smart services of public libraries are people-oriented,and the smart services of public libraries are mainly based on technology applications.At the same time,the existing problems are analyzed,that is,the intelligent management of public libraries needs to be strengthened,the phenomenon of heavy application of light development in public libraries needs to be improved,the development of public libraries in different regions is uneven,and the breadth and depth of public library services need to be strengthened.The transformation of the functional requirements of public libraries needs to be improved and the intelligent development of public libraries in different regions is not balanced.(4)Put forward the strategies for the development of smart services in public libraries in China: strengthen smart management,cultivate smart librarians;strengthen technology-driven;expand smart service content,extend service scope,deepen service levels,and strengthen 24-hour self-service library and mobile services;Construction,improve reader self-service,deep integration of document information resources;create smart space,create cultural information sharing space and creative space;strengthen foreign cooperation and exchanges,and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between domestic and international industries.
