Reflections On Children’s Interesting Experience Education

Facing the cultural development requirements of the new era,museums are endowed with new educational functions.As an important place for children to receive social education,museums are playing an increasingly important role in cities across China.Due to the weak theoretical foundation,research on children’s education activities in domestic museums still needs to be deepened and improved,and there is an urgent need for more empirical research to be promoted.In view of this,this article selects Shandong Provincial Museum as an example to conduct in-depth research on the basic situation,typical cases,and existing problems of children’s education in Shandong Museum.The children’s education activities of Shandong Museum have broken free from the shackles of traditional concepts.Based on the museum’s situation and exhibition reality,they pay attention to innovating the types and forms of activities,and carry out three types of children’s education activities: science and exploration,archaeology and restoration,and handicraft and painting.Based on the analysis of three typical cases of dinosaur series activities-"Footprints","African Wildlife Migration",and "Archaeological Simulation 1",it was found that the Shandong Museum has a relatively advanced concept of children’s education,with the concept of "education in pleasure,education in the heart" running through the entire process;Pay attention to the differentiated needs of children of different age groups,so that children can learn through play and movement,and achieve outstanding educational results;The activity adopts a "gamified" design and does not seek "standard" answers,greatly stimulating children’s creativity.However,there are still issues with differences in participation objectives,insufficient emphasis,and children’s educational cognition in Shandong Museum’s children’s education activities.Faced with the new demand for the extension and development of children’s education in the new era,Shandong Museum should pay attention to planning the development route of children’s education,broaden the publicity path,and enhance audience awareness;To focus on children’s needs,optimize activity strategies,explore localization paths,and deepen the effectiveness of activities into children’s hearts;We should attach importance to the objective evaluation of the effectiveness of educational activities,establish a sound evaluation and improvement mechanism,and make children fall in love with museums and museum educational activities.
