The development and promotion of children's art education curriculum is an important part of museum public service projects,which has been paid more attention by museums all over the world.The United States,France,Japan and other countries attach great importance to the museum children's art education curriculum,and also have a rich and systematic curriculum system.However,the development of museums in China is relatively small,and there are some problems in the regular activities of independent development,such as lack of planning and design,lack of pertinence,insufficient development and utilization of resources in the museum,emphasis on form,light content and so on.In view of the above phenomenon,this paper takes Chengdu Museum in Sichuan Province as the research object,through the analysis of the current situation and implementation process of children's education,combined with the relevant literature of children's art education in museums at home and abroad,using interdisciplinary research methods,combined with field investigation and case analysis,discusses the children's art education curriculum in museums from the following three aspects.That is to say,starting from the problems existing in the current situation of children's education of Chengdu Museum in Sichuan Province,this paper explores the causes of the problems from the aspects of the functions of the museum,the aims and objectives of children's education of the museum,the systematicness of the planning,the forms and methods of education,etc.In view of the existing problems of children's art education curriculum in Sichuan Museum,this paper puts forward some solutions.And the museum education activities are divided into three stages: the former stage,the middle stage and the latter stage,and the planning and implementation strategies of these three stages are described respectively.Finally,it puts forward new ideas and strategies for the children's education activities of Chengdu Museum in Sichuan Province,aiming to carry out a series of children's education activities with Sichuan Regional Characteristics and museum collection characteristics,and in line with children's cognitive characteristics and behavior,so as to promote the sustainable development of children's education in the museum.
