| With the continuous change of demand forms,the traditional large-scale and mass production has gradually shifted to flexible and customized production to provide high mix,low volume and fast-responding products and services to meet customers’ needs,which will inevitably lead to a huge change of the scale and complexity of supply chain management.Supplier selection management,as the primary component within supply chain management,also needs to quickly adapt to and meet this change and incorporates the key features of business demands into supplier selection indicators more scientifically and effectively.The typical characteristics of W company’s business(growth sci-tech,international,high mix,low volume,customization)are generally representative among non-head enterprises in similar industries.Therefore,it is meaningful to construct a set of supplier selection index system based on these business characteristics.Firstly,this paper reviews the domestic and foreign literatures related to supplier selection,and expounds the basic theories and methods of supporting the selection of supplier selection indicators and constructing evaluation models.Then,focusing on the analysis of the current situation and possible reasons of W company’s existing supplier selection,based on transaction cost theory,resource bricolage theory and the analysis steps of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process,the supplier selection index system,evaluation model and specific methods of W company are constructed.The following research results are obtained: W company’s existing supplier selection indicators do not consider the company’s business characteristics,have only qualitative selection indicators,and the weight setting of selection indicators lacks theoretical basis.These problems are common in the same type of enterprises;transaction cost theory and resource bricolage theory can well guide the selection of supplier selection indicators,and the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process provides a rigorous analysis step for constructing the supplier selection index system and evaluation model of W company.On this basis,this paper constructs a supplier selection index system,evaluation model and specific methods,including 3 first-level indicators(performance,operation management system,cooperation and external environment evaluation),13second-level indicators and 25 specific indicators at the program level,and puts forward a more objective and simple method for the quantitative conversion of qualitative indicators and the standardization of quantitative indicators.The supplier selection index system of W company constructed in this paper is an improvement of the existing supplier selection process of W company.It solves the problem that the supplier selection index cannot meet the actual needs of the same type of enterprises,and the lack of quantitative indicators and unreasonable index weight setting.Taking five suppliers of W company as samples,the effectiveness of the newly constructed supplier selection index system is verified. |
