Today,with the rapid development of science and technology,our society has entered a new and vibrant world,especially the technological innovation of semiconductor enterprises has effectively promoted the change and progress of modern technology.For semiconductor companies,this is not only an opportunity for development,but also a challenge.In the face of an increasingly competitive market environment,how to take advantage of the situation and continue to maintain a high-quality development trend is a practical problem faced by semiconductor companies.To maintain the development advantage of semiconductor companies,talent is the key,and to maintain talent advantage,it must be supported by a high-quality performance management system.Only by continuously optimizing the performance management system can we ensure the advantages of talents and remain invincible in this field.Taking M Semiconductor Company as the research object,starting from the background of the current epidemic impact and high-quality development requirements of China’s semiconductor industry enterprises,this paper analyzes the current status of M Semiconductor Company’s current performance management system through questionnaire surveys and conversation interviews,points out its problems and the reasons behind them,uses performance management theory to optimize the management system of M Semiconductor Company,and puts forward corresponding safeguard measures.Firstly,this paper reviews the literature at home and abroad,and determines the research methods based on the current problems faced by the company.Then,based on the existing relevant data,the company’s situation is visually displayed,and the basic knowledge related to performance management is introduced from the age,working years,gender,education background and other relevant elements of performance management.The present situation of M company’s performance management is investigated by means of issuing a questionnaire,and the results of the questionnaire are discussed.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire are tested by SPSSPRO software to confirm that the questionnaire is reasonable and has certain feasibility and rationality.After that,the causes of performance management problems are analyzed,which include the following problems: unreasonable performance plan setting,weak performance monitoring construction,insufficient performance appraisal implementation,lack of performance feedback mechanism and insufficient use of performance appraisal results.Finally,the balanced scorecard method,key performance appraisal method,and 360-degree appraisal method are used in combination with the actual situation of the company to formulate a performance plan that matches the target,strictly implement the performance supervision program and process,and optimize the performance appraisal.Standardize the system operation,establish and improve the performance communication and appeal mechanism,and apply the performance appraisal results to the performance management.Establish a set of scientific and efficient performance management system for M company.
