Research On The Beijing Opera Report Of China Daily From The Perspective Of Framework Theory(2016-2021)

Peking Opera was once called Ping Opera,one of the five major Chinese operas,which is also one of the species is an important representative of China’s traditional culture.The performance characteristics of Peking Opera are unique,has attracted the attention of many fans at home and abroad.China Daily as a mainstream media platform,and has great advantages in all aspects,like social influence and content quality.It is also the first choice for many overseas groups to understand China.Under the background of the revival of traditional culture,the success of Chinese traditional culture represented by Peking Opera will further show the charm of Chinese Peking Opera,enhance the country’s soft power,and show the real China.Therefore,Imaging and improving China’s international status play a very important role.By sorting out and analyzing the relevant reports of China Daily on Peking Opera,I take the framework theory as the starting point for research,and selects some of the Peking Opera reports of China Daily from 2016 to2021 are news samples for research.From different perspectives,such as text analysis and case analysis,I will explore the framework construction of its Peking Opera report and how China Daily reports Peking Opera.I found that China Daily reported that when it came to Peking Opera,it chose news under different themes to elaborate Peking Opera in many aspects,citing others’ voice to show the artistic charm of Peking Opera,and the news text has a positive emotional color.Meanwhile,China daily used a variety of communication strategies,media integration,individual narrative and cultural adaptation to built framing.Three different reporting frameworks and relatively complete communication frameworks promote the dissemination of Peking Opera and provide inspiration and experience for the overseas dissemination of Peking Opera.However,China Daily also has a single reporting source in terms of Peking Opera reporting,failing to pay full attention to the needs of the audience;the translation is not unified and standardized.Based on this,China Daily should expand the reporting sources and improve the translation of translators’ literacy to enhance the attractiveness of the report.
