Air pollution has become one of the most serious environmental problems facing all human beings right now with relation to the stability and development of the whole society. Haze pollution was not raised and drew huge public attention until the construction of ecological civilization was put forward by Chairman Xi during the 18th National Congress. Therefore, haze related reports between January 2013 and January 2015 in <China Daily> is the object of the Study. In the Study, the researcher tried to sort out and analyze all reports about haze and discuss the framework of the haze reports of the Newspaper. The main points generated from the Study are as follows:Through manual look up and keyword search of the newspaper, the number of texts to be analyzed is totally 279. First part is Introduction. The main idea is the introduction of the topic and background, object and objective, as well as the research methods, creative points and disadvantages of the Study. The part of literature review included focuses mainly on the review and summary of the study of Framework related Theory and reports concerning haze and environmental news. Second part are data collection and preliminary analysis concerning report layout, topics, sources, genre and pictures, etc by way of content analysis. The objective is to make preparation for the exploration of the news framework in the way of quantitative analysis from a macro level.The content of third part is based on the research outcome of the previous part, which is to explore the general news framework from three main ways, which are, construction features of the subject information, selection features of framework elements and multi-dimension framework features. The purpose is to find out the highlight information and covered ones out of this propaganda nature newspaper through the above analysis and in what way it influenced the audiences' understanding of government policies, as well as their hope towards haze control. Fourth part is Case Study. Here four representative reports are chosen being discussed according to Zang Guoren's (a scholar from Taiwan) theory. The objective is to investigate the news text from a micro level. During the study, the researcher is safe to conclude that the writing style of <China Daily> is straightforward with limited interesting and it cares about the affection of people among various countries. Meanwhile, due to different publishing regions with different audience, the drafting style between its Chinese version and U.S. version is obviously different to some extent. In general, the language and style of the Newspaper are relatively plain and conventional. Last part is to summarize the issues existing and tracking strategies in connection with haze news in <China Daily>. There are three main aspects of issues, which are, lack of rational analysis against risky information, lack of reports of deep investigation and the writing skill of journalists needs to be strengthened. Last but not least, there are some strategies being provided against the aforesaid problems.
