Framework Study Of People’s Daily Weibo About "China Eastern Airlines Crash" Report

Sudden disaster events are unpredictable and unavoidable.In today’s highly developed information society,once such disasters occur,if they cannot be timely responded and dealt with,it is very easy to cause public opinion crisis,damage the credibility of the government and endanger social stability.The media,especially the mainstream media,bear the important responsibility of transmitting factual information,showing the truth of the event and guiding public opinion through continuous news reports in disaster events.The media’s news reporting framework implies the media’s position and reporting strategy,which directly affects the audience’s cognition of the disaster and further guides the public opinion.In the era of social media,the carriers of disaster news reports have shifted from traditional newspapers,radio and TV media to Internet platforms such as Weibo,WeChat and TicTok.In this paper,"3·21" MU5735 Flight accident of China Eastern Airlines,the most influential air accident with the largest number of casualties in China in recent ten years,is selected as the case,and People’s Daily microblog is used to analyze the period from March 21,2022 to April 20,2022,when the initial investigation report of the accident was released.The relevant reports of the accident are taken as research samples.Combined with specific reporting cases,the construction of sample content is deeply analyzed from three levels of framework structure,namely high,medium and low,and the report theme,report form,text symbol and other aspects,and the four frameworks of People’s Daily microblog report on the China Eastern Airlines Incident are summarized:The information informing framework,government image framework,human interest framework and praise and publicity framework are analyzed,and the reasons for the formation of the framework are related to national policies,media positioning,microblog platform characteristics and audience needs.Through the study of interactive data,it is found that the information informing framework and human interest framework have a greater impact on the audience.The study found that in the report on the accident of China Eastern Airlines,the news framework of @People’s Daily had deficiencies such as unbalanced reporting stage,missing reporting perspective,insufficient interaction and lack of reporting depth.By referring to the characteristics of @People’s Daily’s East Airlines accident reporting framework and reflecting on its shortcomings,this paper proposes that the mainstream media should optimize the new media reporting of disaster events:ensure the truth of the news and seize the opportunity to publish;Highlight the "positive" presentation,grasp the scale of "sadness";Abide by news ethics,highlight humanistic care;Deep cultivation of the content of the report,innovation of the way of reporting,four sides of the proposal.
