Research On The Smog Reporting Strategy Of China Daily In 2015-2016 Under The Framework Theory

Smog related reports between January 2015 and December 2016 in China Daily is the object of the study.In the study,the researcher tried to sort out and analyze all reports about smog and discuss the framework of smog reports.Through manual look up and keyword research of the website of China Daily,the number of the texts to be analyzed is 147 totally.By exploring the general news framework from selection features of framework,and multi-dimension framework features,the researcher has found that China Daily's report was conservative and quite satisfactory in terms of words and official expressions.The smog report strategy of China Daily are closely related to the hot spots of civil society,the proportion of neutral and negative attitudes is relatively large,and government policies are highlighted in reports.There are three main aspects of issues: Too much official words and expressions instead of stories,lack of reports of deep investigation and worldwide sight.The author proposes suggestion such as enhancing storylines,presenting multifaceted China,and expanding global horizons.
