| Innovation and entrepreneurship are becoming a global development trend,becoming a common practice in the whole society.The innovation and entrepreneurship of the whole people has given birth to a large number of small,medium and micro enterprises.Enterprises,especially local small,medium and micro enterprises,are the main service targets of public libraries.The "Public Library Manifesto",an important document in the industry,emphasizes the important role of public libraries in all aspects,and proposes that providing information services to enterprises is an important part of the work of public libraries.In the global competition for comprehensive national strength with scientific and technological strength as the core,the UK pays more attention to science,research and innovation.As one of the main information service organizations in the UK,the British Library has formed its own unique approach in the service of small,medium and micro enterprises and has accumulated certain experience.This article focuses on the service problems of public libraries for small,medium and micro enterprises under the background of innovation and entrepreneurship.Starting from theoretical analysis,this article analyzes the service practices of small,medium and micro enterprises in the British Library through investigation and analysis,and analyzes its characteristics.Based on the question,discuss the corresponding enlightenment from the British Library.This paper mainly uses methods such as investigation and case analysis.First,it analyzes the related concepts and basic theories of innovation and entrepreneurship,the overview of domestic and foreign library enterprise services,and the opportunities and challenges faced by library enterprise services under the background of innovation and entrepreneurship.Then introduce the British Library,analyze the development history and main types of small and micro enterprises served by the British Library.The service types include maker services,training services,cultural and creative product services,etc.Then summarize the main achievements of the British Library in serving small,medium and micro enterprises under the background of innovation and entrepreneurship,which are manifested in effectively meeting the needs of the majority of enterprises,building a national enterprise service network,providing various types of services for small,medium and micro enterprises,and taking into account economic and social benefits,etc.Analyze the influencing factors behind the results,such as precise positioning of the services of small,medium and micro enterprises,active understanding of corporate needs,scientific planning of national corporate services with the British Library as the main body,and focus on expanding service cooperation.From the perspective of practical development,although my country’s public libraries have achieved certain results in corporate services,there are still the following major problems.For example,public library corporate service positioning and policy orientation need to be further clarified,and public library services are difficult to meet small,medium and micro enterprises.Demand,the high cost of public library services for small,medium and micro enterprises,etc.In order to better promote my country’s public libraries to serve small,medium and micro enterprises,this article puts forward the inspiration from the British Library under the social background of innovation and entrepreneurship.These enlightenments are mainly that public libraries should accurately position the services of small,medium and micro enterprises,public libraries should actively connect with small,medium and micro enterprises to provide services,public libraries should pay attention to the planning and evaluation of small,medium and micro enterprise services,and public libraries should strengthen cooperation to help small,medium and micro enterprises.Enterprise services and public library services for small,medium and micro enterprises should focus on the use of new technologies,etc.Due to the continuous development of society and technology,under the background of innovation and entrepreneurship,the service of small,medium-sized and micro enterprises in public libraries needs to constantly improve the service mode and service quality.In this paper,the case analysis of the service of small,medium-sized and micro enterprises in the British Library is mainly based on literature and network investigation.There is no field practical investigation,no in-depth cause analysis in combination with the background of economic,social and cultural development in the UK,and no comparative analysis of the practice of the service of small,medium-sized and micro enterprises in public libraries in other countries other than the British Library.These deficiencies provide a good entry point for future research and should continue to be concerned in the future. |
