Research On The Construction Framework Of Makerspace In Academic Libraries

The "Mass Entrepreneurship,Innovation" and the development of innovative entrepreneurship require universities to carry out educational and teaching reform,speed up the transformation of library services,cultivate students ' innovative consciousness and innovative ability and entrepreneurial spirit.Makerspace provides users with materials,equipment and space,helps users to turn ideas into reality,has a common social value with academic libraries,and is a place where users can practice and exchange ideas for innovative entrepreneurial activities.The establishment of makerspace in academic libraries is conducive to promoting the reform of higher education teaching,promoting the transformation of the service of academic libraries,cultivating innovative talents and promoting innovative entrepreneurship.Based on the research content of the makerspace construction of academic library,the concepts of innovation,entrepreneurship,makerspace and frame are clarified in this paper,and on the basis of the relevant research results at home and abroad and the investigation of the makerspace construction of academic library,it is necessary to make a framework for the construction of the makerspace of university library.Combining with the User Requirements theory and the Entrepreneurship Education theory,the demand of the makerspace of university library construction is discussed in this dissertation,and the needs of the users of the academic library makerspace in 4 aspects,such as the subscriber basic information,the consumer cognition,the consumer demand and the consumer demand willingness are investigatesd.And then through field research,literature research,network survey and other methods,the makerspaces of 10 academic libraries at home and abroad are selected as cases,and are compared and analyzed in 6 aspects,such as equipment allocation,resource service,staffing,spatial layout,construction mode and propaganda mode,and summarizes the experience of the construction of the academic library makerspace,and the problems existing in the academic library makerspace in China.The construction framework and construction principle and strategy of the academic library makerspace are put forward in theis essay,and the feasibility of the framework is validated with the example of the construction of the makerspace of the Li Wenzheng Library in Southeast University,in order to provide reference for the academic library to better build the makerspace.
