| With the miniaturization of electronic devices in the current market and the wide application of mobile phones,electronic temperature guns,and various wearable electronic devices,the development of power management chips has been driven,and higher requirements have been put forward for power management chips.Low-dropout linear regulators(LDO)have gained market attention because of their low cost,small size,stable output voltage,and relatively low quiescent power consumption,which are easy to integrate into system-on-chips(SOC)or suitable for powering microcontrollers(Micro Control Units,MCU).Traditional LDO achieve good transient response and ensure system stability with large off-chip capacitors,but the increased pin and component costs make it unfavorable for on-chip integration.LDO without external capacitor has the advantages of small layout area and low cost,which has become a hot research direction today.The power management chip designed with an off-chip capacitive LDO as the core design realizes performance requirements such as low power consumption,small area,and easy integration.The chip also integrates an RC oscillator to provide clock frequency signals and necessary power-on and power-down reset circuits for systems such as MCU.The bandgap reference circuit designed in this thesis has a temperature coefficient of7.59ppm/℃ in the-40℃~125℃ temperature range,and a smaller temperature coefficient can provide better voltage accuracy for the LDO output voltage.The stability and transient response performance differences of traditional LDO and off-chip capacitorless LDO were analyzed,Miller capacitance multiplication compensation and multi-stage op amp design structure were used to improve loop stability,and good stability was measured in the full load range of 0.1m A~100m A under the TT process angle.The slew rate enhancement circuit is designed to track the change of load current to quickly charge and discharge the gate of the pass transistor,and the downshoot voltage is 93 m V when the load is 0.1m A~50m A jump,the overshoot voltage is 80 m V,and the recovery time is 19μs.The LDO output voltage is 1.51 V and the quiescent current is 749 n A.In addition,the designed RC oscillator measures a square wave signal with an output frequency of 128.1 KHZ and a duty ratio of 50.1%,can provide real-time clock signal for MCU. |
