For IC manufacturing enterprises,“Time wins,speed determines the future”.Shortening the R&D cycle has become the first priority of R&D project today.Putting R&D product in the market faster than competitors can bring enormous commercial benefits to organizations.The research object of this paper is Company A.Firstly,the literature research method is used to sort out the development process of new product project of Company A.Next,we dig out the problems of the R&D project with the help of questionnaires and interviews,and then identify the reasons.Subsequently analyzes current situation of the R&D from three dimensions: organizational structure,R&D process,and R&D quality control.According to the results of analysis,the optimization direction is put forward by using the theory of IPD(integrated product development)process management,APQP and concurrent engineering.First of all,optimize the organization structure of project management to match the R&D positioning of Company A and promote technical exchange accordingly.Secondly,through the optimization of the R&D process,shorten development cycle;Thirdly,through the establishment of APQP system,it not only provides a powerful database and experience reference for similar technologies,but also tracks and controls R&D projects in real time,accelerating the development cycle.In term of development cycle management,most of IC companies begin with the optimization of project planning and control.Under resource constraints,this article qualitatively analyzes the impact on the development cycle by organization structure,R & D process,and quality control,and proposes countermeasures to shorten the R & D cycle.At the same time,it introduces APQP system of the automotive industry to company A to realize automatic management on the full process of the project,it will not only reduce the risks of products & processes and shorten R & D cycle,but also accelerate the deep integration of IC industry and the automotive industry,which is beneficial for the further development of commercial cooperation on both part.This innovative method,with good reprehensibility,low cost,and fast feedback,is also suitable for the reference for other IC enterprises.
