With the rapid development of modern industry and the advent of the age of Industry 4.0,higher requirement and challenge have been put forward for the transformation of traditional industrial development to intelligent manufacturing.Therefore,industrial robots have become a kind of indispensable productivity in intelligent manufacturing and life services in the future.Robot is what a high-tech and integrate machinery,electronics,and software together.It is difficult R&D technology,high cost,and long cycle.In addition,it also faces rapid product upgrades and changes to the external environment.The pressure of high quality requirements and short time compression of market demand.Faced with internal and external pressures,if the development cycle cannot be compressed,improve product quality,and reduce product cost,the market will be lost quickly.Therefore,we must pay more attention to the quality of project development and use a complete project development quality system for management to keep the vitality of products and the sustainable development of the company.This article takes the industrial robot project developed by BC company as an example,expounds the current status of project development in the robot development process,analyzes the current problems in project quality management,and proposes solutions based on the problems in the current project development stage to optimize the current project quality Organizational structure and project quality development process.The improvement action plan will refer to APQP,FMEA,QFD and other quality tools.In the pre-research phase,development phase,and verification phase of the project,process optimization and quality tool introduction were carried out to reduce product failure rate and improve product maturity.In the end,the project was mass-produced as scheduled,and the product quality reached the design requirements,and it was successfully introduced to the market.The project quality management process method proposed in the paper has strong guidance and enlightenment for new project development,and it is also worthy of reference for other industries.
