With the vigorous development of digital transformation and informatization,the role of data in enterprises is becoming increasingly prominent.To better store and utilize the vast amount of data generated during the production process,numerous domestic companies have chosen to establish their own data centers.Data center operations involve numerous systems and devices,resulting in diverse risks that require timely identification and management during operations.This study uses A Company’s data center as a case study to delve into risk management in the process of self-built data center operations for domestic enterprises.The paper initially conducted a review of relevant literature in the field,encompassing risk management theories and methods,the application of risk management in the information systems domain,and data center operational management,laying the foundation for the research.Subsequently,based on actual research conducted at A Company,the paper summarized the actual operational and risk management situations of the data center.Combining this with an analysis of risk event data,it outlined the issues present in A Company’s data center operational risk management.The Delphi method was then employed to identify risks in data center operations,resulting in a list of four major categories and twelve subcategories of risk points.The paper proceeded to conduct risk assessments using both risk matrix and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)methodologies,obtaining weight values for each risk point and determining their priorities.Through comparative analysis,it was determined that infrastructure risk,operational process risk,and information leakage risk were the most critical risks to address in the current data center operations.Based on the results of risk assessment,the paper categorized risks as controllable and uncontrollable based on their characteristics and current status,proposing corresponding risk response measures.Risk management is an ongoing and dynamic process,and in light of the deficiencies identified in A Company’s data center operational risk management,the paper put forth a dynamic data center risk management system,incorporating elements from organization,processes,regulations,and tools,along with the CMMI model.Through an in-depth study of risk events in A Company’s data center operations,this research provides a series of feasible experiences and recommendations for domestic data center operational risk management.As the digital era continues to evolve,data centers,as the core of enterprise information infrastructure,place a heightened emphasis on operational risk management.It is hoped that the results of this study will provide valuable insights for academic research and practical applications in related fields,driving further development in data center operational risk management.
