Maintenance Center Design And Implementation Of Xml-based Cmt System Operation

Composite Mobile Telecommunication (CMT) developed by NDSC is a 3G plus mobile communication system including access network and core network of many types. In CMT system, Operations Maintenance Center (OMC) is a network element management platform for the maintenance and administration of distributed network elements. This paper studies the design and the implementation of OMC based on XML technology.At first, this paper briefly explains the whole architecture of CMT system , then analyses in detail the functions, the compositions and the architecture of OMC subsystem. Through the comparision of the different 'Client/Server' structure, this paper puts forward a B/S architecture based on XML, which meet the demands of OMC.With a detail discussion of the concepts and the related techniques, we provide a spectacular design for OMC. For the whole design, we discuss the three-tier B/S structure based on XML, analyse the function of every-tier and the application process of XML in the structure.Then we solve the problems referring to the design of the system frame with the design pattern of Model-Viewer-Controller (MVC), put forward OMCFrame with XML as its core,. The frame is a most important innovation in the paper, so we make research into the design of its main components.Finally, we analyse the function modules of the system in detail, discuss the developing tier and the transferring flow, and implement the system function in aspect of the express logic, the control logic, the business logic and the like.This paper mainly discusses the key applications of XML in the system implementation, which are followed: XML documentation driven is put forward innovatively, which implements the function management of OMC system, and makes the function expanding easier; Initial deployment files in the system is described with XML, which improves its adaptability and retractility; All the 'command requests' and 'command responses' is packaged into XML document, which is be good for the system's unified disposal, and is easy to get extended and improved; This paper puts forward the concept of XML data-set object, and designs a kind of mapping transforming arithmetic to map office-data into XML data set object, which avoid accessing frequently to the database and improve the efficiency of the OMC system; A method of using XML document to describe all sorts of updating data operation is provided, which can make the data included in the XML request as few as possible, afford conveniences for business logic processing, and reduce the burden of the server.The architecture, frame based on XML, and the correlative flows introduced in this paper are already implemented by programs, and OMC system runs well at present.
