The main service objects of academic libraries are teachers and students.At the moment when the new technology era is constantly advancing,the university library,known as the "second classroom",continues to innovate its service methods to meet the ever-changing information needs of the teachers and students.Self-learning,negotiation learning,interactive machine learning and other learning methods have gradually penetrated into the campus in the past few years.University teachers and students have new information needs while contacting and using new technologies.In order to meet these new information needs,the Learning Commons(LC)of university library was born.LC is a new type of space emerging with the mature development of the Information Commons and breaking away from the traditional library-based idea.Relatively speaking,it emphasizes user-centered,providing services and support for users through professional equipment configuration and rich information resources,and providing one-stop service for readers and users’ learning and communication in the new interactive learning space created.At present,college teachers and students’ requirements for information services and technical support provided by library Learning Commons are constantly improving,but the experience effect and satisfaction are uneven,and the satisfaction is affected by many factors.With this as the background,through empirical research,the survey on the satisfaction of Learning Commons in university libraries and its influencing factors was carried out.The main contents of this study are as follows:First of all,this study reviews the research background,clarifies the significance of the research,combs and analyzes the recent research situation related to LC of university libraries at home and abroad through literature research,and clarifies the research innovation points,it explains the core concepts related to the satisfaction of LC in university libraries,taking the classic customer satisfaction index model as the theoretical basis,supplemented by other relevant theoretical methods,as the theoretical basis for the construction of the subsequent satisfaction index model;secondly,based on the existing satisfaction index model and literature research,combined with the characteristics of the construction of LC in Chinese university libraries,select six influencing factors as potential variables: reader expectation,perceived quality,perceived value,reader satisfaction,spatial image and reader loyalty,and the relationship between variables is assumed to build the initial model of satisfaction index LC in university libraries;based on the above basis,taking the Learning Commons of Shandong provincial University Library as the research object,the questionnaire was designed,distributed and retrieved,the questionnaire data was statistically analyzed by using SPSS,and the satisfaction model was tested using AMOS,realizing the test of hypothetical influencing factors,the data analysis results and research conclusions were obtained.The research conclusions are as follows: reader expectation has a significant positive impact on perceived quality,reader expectation has a significant positive impact on perceived value,reader expectation has a significant positive impact on reader satisfaction,perceived quality has a significant positive impact on perceived value,perceived quality has a significant positive impact on reader satisfaction,and perceived value has a significant positive impact on reader satisfaction,Reader satisfaction has a significant positive impact on the spatial image,reader satisfaction has a significant positive impact on reader loyalty,and spatial image has a significant positive impact on reader loyalty.According to the above research conclusions,this study put forward four countermeasures and suggestions: "attach importance to publicity and guidance,improve readers’ expectations","optimize resource services,improve perceived quality","improve service quality,improve perceived value" and "maintain readers’ satisfaction,improve spatial image",with a view to improving the satisfaction of university library Learning Commons.
