As an academic institution for teaching support and scientific research in colleges and universities, the target is satisfied the readers' demand of knowledge, literature and information. With the advent of digital information age and the development, electronic data resources in the library resources in the proportion is more and more big.At the same time, users also more and more use digital resources in college and university, library website as an electronic data entry gradually started to become more and more important. How to measure the library web site can meet the needs of readers, how to measure the reader satisfaction of library website, all of this with the importance of electronic data resources and became more important, and scientific measure needs scientific evaluation system to evaluate.Current research on sites evaluation, commercial site is study more and its evaluation is more scientific. Some domestic and foreign literature reported the research of library website evaluation, but evaluation methods are mainly refer to commercial sites evaluation method, and the library's nonprofit, library resources to users is irreplaceability, the university library users is specificity and conditionality, and other particularity else. All of that decided to use the evaluate commercial sites method to evaluation library website is not the appropriate choice. This paper drawing on user satisfaction model and integrating the characteristics of library and library website, put forward three dimensions that affect reader satisfaction with medical library website from reader's perception. The three dimensions are: resource, service and website user experience. In view of the above three dimensions, this paper used relevant researches for reference, constructed evaluation indicator model, and transformed the evaluation model into measuring items which can conduct evaluations according to reader's perception. After completing the final questionnaire design, the study selected a medical university library website as evaluation object, made questionnaire survey among its website users, and then summarized relevant data after finishing the survey. With the help of structural equation model theory, the model was tested by survey data through AMOS statistical program. The study confirmed that reader satisfaction with the medical library website is influenced by the following factors:(1)the resources provided by library's website;(2)the services of library's website available to readers;(3)the information required to obtain the services which provided by library website;(4)the user experience level of the library website itself.Among these factors, resource dimension covers paper resource's OPAC system, commercial electronic resources and library self-built resources.Service dimension involves in navigation service, personal library and many other service factors. The user experience level of the website is affected by user's feeling of website appearance, the response speed reflecting the technological level of hardware and software and other technical factors,as well as website organization, website maintenance, website interaction and so on.By integrating the above conclusions, strategies to enhance reader satisfaction of medical library website were given: it is necessary to attach importance to resource construction and service construction, and also pay attention to the construction of the website itself,so as to provide users with high quality website user experience.
