In recent years,with the proposal of the strategy of revitalizing the country through science and education,China’s higher vocational education has flourished,and the public has increasingly attached importance to the education of children.In order to achieve socialist modernization,a large number of professional and skilled talents have been trained,which conforms to the development of the times and meets the strong demand of the people for higher education.As an important place to improve academic performance and cultivate students’ information literacy,libraries in higher vocational colleges are increasingly receiving widespread attention from higher vocational colleges.However,under the dual pressure of college enrollment expansion and the continuous decrease in the number of college entrance examination students,most vocational colleges are facing competition and challenges in running their schools.The satisfaction of vocational college students with the school library service will directly affect the good image of the school in the public mind.Therefore,understanding the reader satisfaction of higher vocational college libraries continuously improves reader loyalty,and high student loyalty to the school means that it will serve as a good reputation for the school,actively promote it,improve its reputation and prestige,provide support for the development of the school,and form a perfect virtuous circle.Therefore,this article aims to study the factors that affect reader satisfaction in Qinhuangdao vocational college libraries,so as to enable the staff of Qinhuangdao vocational college libraries to provide targeted and accurate services to readers,try to meet their information needs,enhance reader satisfaction,further attract and retain readers,and enable readers to actively enter the library,understand the library,and use the library,Ultimately,it forms the cultural support of the school.It also has reference significance for the development of higher vocational colleges in other regions.This article combs the literature on reader satisfaction at home and abroad,as well as the factors that domestic scholars have influenced reader satisfaction in academic libraries,and integrates the satisfaction model,grounded theory,and cultural space theory to construct a model that affects reader satisfaction in vocational college libraries in Qinhuangdao City,and analyzes and verifies the influencing factors through empirical research.Using SPSS and AMOS software to conduct reliability and validity analysis,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,and structural equation model testing,the research concludes that the factors that affect reader satisfaction in Qinhuangdao vocational college libraries mainly include five aspects: collection resources,librarian literacy,infrastructure,environmental atmosphere,and management systems,and different factors have different impacts on reader satisfaction.Finally,based on the empirical analysis results and the cultural space theory,this article puts forward relevant suggestions on ways to improve the satisfaction of vocational college libraries in Qinhuangdao City,hoping to provide some inspiration and reference for the construction of vocational college libraries in other regions of the country. |
