Research On The Orientation Of Library In The Context Of Culturaland Tourism Integration

In recent years,China has published a series of policies and regulations to promote the in-depth integration of culture and tourism,providing a good policy environment and guarantee for the integrated development of culture and tourism industry.As one of the components of China’s public cultural service system,the library plays an important role with the cultural communication in the integration of culture and tourism.Although some libraries have tried to carry out the practical activities of cultural and tourism integration,it has not yet formed a system.At present,the role and positioning of libraries in the cause of cultural and tourism integration are not clear.Facing the new development opportunity by the era of cultural and tourism integration for the library,the role exploration of the library in cultural and tourism integration not only enrich the existing theoretical research,but also guide the library cultural and tourism integration practice.Therefore,in order to explore the role of the library in the cultural and tourism integration,this paper carries out the following research:(1)Based on the grounded theory method,this paper discussed the status of library’s role in the culture and tourism integration from the policies and regulations,literature and network data.According to the grounded theory analysis process,three role dimensions were summarized in the policy and regulation text: service leading dimension,internal support dimension and external support dimension.Each dimension corresponds to different roles,which are divided into five roles: protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage,excellent disseminator of traditional culture,culture and travel information provider,public cultural travel space provider,emerging cultural travel products supplier.This paper summarizes four roles of national library,four roles of public library and three roles of university library in the integration of culture and tourism from documents and network data.(2)In order to truly understand the cognition and requirements of the users for the cultural and tourism roles on the library,the questionnaire survey was carried out for the library user groups.And the existing roles were adjusted and improved according to the users’ needs.Through the empirical research,10 library roles in cultural and tourism integration were determined: exhibitor of national classics collection,national cultural tourism promer,preservation and dissemination of national history and culture,culture and tourism convenient service provider,depth of the travel experience activity providers,exhibition of urban life,communicator of local characteristic culture,popularizer of literature and art education,study travel designer,cultural travel reading promoter.(3)The entropy method was used to further calculate the corresponding weight and evaluation value of each cultural and tourism role of the library,and the users’ cognition of the cultural and tourism role of the library was deeply analyze.Based on the weight and evaluation value,the role position standard was formulated for the establishment of the library role positioning frame under the background of cultural and tourism integration.In this role positioning frame,exhibitor of national classics collection is the first role of national Library,reflect the role and mission of national Library in cultural and tourism integration.Culture and tourism convenient service provider is the first role of public library,reflect the role of public library in cultural and tourism integration.Popularizer of literature and art education plays the first role in university library,Reflect the role of university library in cultural and tourism integration.(4)Based on the relevant conclusions of this study,the suggestions on the role of libraries in cultural and tourism integration were proposed from the perspectives of the national policy guidance and library practice.For example,strengthen policy pertinence,clarify the role of libraries in cultural and tourism integration,guide the library to find the function orientation in the integration of culture and tourism,innovate the management mechanism of the integrated development of library and tourism,promote the efficient connection between library culture and tourism service supply and people’s demand.which could provide the certain references for the development of cultural and tourism integration of the library in China.
