The image of the university library is the understanding and evaluation of the university library by the internal personnel and users of the university library, and the image perception of the university library refers to the understanding and evaluation of the university library formed by the user through feeling and perception. In recent years, with the implementation of the national strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and the innovation of technology,University library is in the process of continuous development and innovation, have developed from traditional libraries to digital libraries and then to smart libraries. However, while making unprecedented progress in the cause, the image construction of university library has lagged behind slightly. This is reflected in the fact that many users still believe that university library is only a place to borrow books or study by themselves based on traditional concepts,They even hold negative image perceptions on university library, such as ”books are difficult to find, seats are difficult to find, and librarians have poor service attitudes”.Therefore, the study of the image perception of university library and its influencing factors can provide effective ideas for the image improvement of university library and promote the balanced development of libraries.Based on cognitive psychology theory,”cognition-emotion” structural theory,S-O-R theory and 5W propagation theory, this study uses word frequency analysis,co-existential analysis, interview method, root theory and structural equation model to study the image perception and influencing factors of university library.First of all, through literature research, combing the relevant literature of library image, clarifying the formation process, formation path and level of image perception of university libraries on the basis of previous research, providing ideas for follow-up research.Second, using the word frequency analysis method and the co-occurrence analysis method to analyze the perceptual bias between image perception and projected image of university libraries, reaching the conclusion that the dimension of image perception of university libraries is not comprehensive enough, the level of it’s is not deep enough, and the emotion of it’s is not positive enough.Third, collecting data through the network survey method and the interview method, using the rooted theory to extract the influencing factors of image perception in university library and their interrelationships, proposing the assumptions of influencing factors and using the structural equation model to verify and improve the hypotheses. Finally, starting from the image perception bias of university library and combining the influencing factors of image perception of university library, the image perception optimization strategy for university libraries is proposed.Aiming at university library, this paper studies the image of the library from the perspective of user perception, clarifies the formation mechanism of the image perception of the university library, comprehensively summarizes the image perception deviation of the university library, extracts and verifies the influencing factors of the image perception of the university library, and proposes a comprehensive and systematic theoretical model of the influencing factors of the image perception of the university library. It not only promotes the construction and development of the image of university library and promotes the comprehensive development of university libraries, but also innovates the research perspective, enriches and improves the research of library image perception to a certain extent, and is of great significance to the improvement of the level of library image research.
