Online and offline integration is the direction of Internet Innovation,and it is also of great significance to promote the innovation of library reading service.In recent years,a series of policy documents issued at the national level have pointed out the direction for online and offline integrated library reading services,and the rapid development of new information technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data,it also provides the necessary technical support and data guarantee for the online and offline library reading service.On this basis,the library reading service is gradually from online to offline or from offline to online one-way service mode(O2O)to the integration of online and offline service mode(OMO).On the basis of grasping their respective characteristics and rules,we will combine the advantages of online and offline reading services,make a good connection between online and offline resources and services,and break the separate state between online and offline,make the connection and connection between online and offline,gradually realize online and offline data sharing,resource co-construction,information communication and service interconnection,so that users can touch the library services at any time and anywhere,and obtain all kinds of information and services of the library seamlessly,it is helpful to change the service mode of the library,improve the service efficiency,and establish the service development pattern of improving the reading experience of the users.Based on the basic theoretical research,this paper investigates the current situation of online and offline integrated reading service in public libraries in China,and combines the results of online and offline integrated reading service users’ demand survey,this paper puts forward some strategies for improving the reading service level of the library by integrating online and offline.First of all,about online and offline integration of the library reading service basic theoretical research.Based on the theories of“New retail”,OMO,and omni-channel retail,this paper analyzes the connotation and characteristics of online and offline integrated library reading service.Based on the analysis of the concept of online and offline integrated library reading service and the related research results of domestic academic circles,this paper constructs the framework of online and offline integration of the library reading service,including online and offline library service system and platform integration(terminal equipment,application software),service content integration(information services,collection services,lending services,related activities),integrated innovation of service strategy(personalized service,interactive service).Secondly,from the service platform,service content and other aspects of the current public library online and offline integration of the status of reading services.This paper investigates and compares the contents and methods of online and offline reading services of public libraries on different platforms,and analyzes the existing problems.Thirdly,the author conducts a survey on the user demand for online and offline integrated library reading services in China,and statistically analyzes the basic characteristics of the subjects of this survey,the variance analysis was used to analyze the gender,age,educational background and the reading demand index in the questionnaire to study the difference of the reading demand of the users with different characteristics.Finally,in view of the current situation of online and offline integrated library reading service,the survey of users’ demand and the existing problems,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the online and offline integrated library reading service: to grasp the characteristics of the “Internet +”era,actively promoting and popularizing online and offline integrated library reading service;to continuously update and upgrade online and offline integrated reading service system and platform,optimize the user experience;to speed up the integration of paper and electricity in the library,and refine the construction and management of resources,to meet the needs of users for the uniform acquisition and utilization of different types of resources,and to provide accurate services by means of deep mining and revealing users’ data,to push the resources that users may be interested in,and finally to perfect the service feedback mechanism,building closed loops for online and offline services. |
