| As the world enters the information age and the Internet technology has become more and more mature,the way people obtain knowledge and information has quietly changed.From the traditional library service function,the public library gradually tends to be mobile,digital and fragmented.As a part of China’s public libraries,the development of Public Libraries in Hunan Province has both advantages and disadvantages.Therefore,analyzing the current situation and regional differences of Public Libraries in Hunan Province as a whole has important research significance for the relevant competent departments to scientifically formulate the "14th five year plan" of Hunan Public Libraries and continuously promote the development of Public Libraries in Hunan Province.Firstly,this paper expounds the basic concept,connotation and relevant theoretical basis of public library from the theoretical level;Secondly,based on the analysis of the capital investment,collection construction and utilization of regional public libraries in Hunan Province by the end of 2021,the overall regional differences of Public Libraries in Hunan Province are calculated by using Lorentz curve and Gini coefficient.The results show that there are great differences in the construction of Public Libraries in Hunan Province between the macro Eastern,central and western regions of China,between the meso central six provinces,within the micro region and the overall public library construction.In addition,there are also problems of insufficient collection,shortage of professionals,unbalanced development,less investment in digital resources and insufficient special construction funds.Finally,it puts forward some optimization countermeasures,such as improving the service environment,integrating document resources,building a high-quality librarian team,focusing on the construction of local characteristic collections,strengthening service publicity and promoting national reading. |
