Secondary vocational schools(hereinafter referred to as "secondary vocational schools"),as an important training base for cultivating all kinds of professional applied talents,pay more attention to the cultivation of professional abilities of marketing students in order to meet the needs of marketing applied talents in the market economy.The course "Marketing Basis" is an important basic course for students majoring in marketing in secondary vocational schools.It is also a practical course.However,the application of traditional teaching method in the course of "Foundation of Marketing" exposes the problem of mismatch with the cultivation of students’ vocational ability,which cannot meet the cultivation requirements of students’ vocational ability and cognitive ability.As a new teaching method,situational teaching method requires students to play the main role in the created situation,pay attention to the cultivation of students’ professional ability and cognitive ability,and improve students’ ability to analyze and solve problems.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,research purpose and significance of the topic of this paper,as well as the research status at home and abroad,and clarifies the definition of relevant concepts and theoretical basis by using the literature research method.Secondly,taking three secondary vocational schools in Heze City as sample schools,6 teachers and 249 students from three secondary vocational schools were selected by interview and questionnaire survey to investigate the application status of situational teaching method in the course of "Marketing Basis" in secondary vocational schools.Then,statistical method is used to analyze the obtained questionnaire data with SPSS statistical software,to explore the problems still existing in the application of situational teaching method in the course "Marketing Basis" in secondary vocational schools,and to propose targeted optimization countermeasures on the basis of cause analysis.Finally,the shortcomings of the research are clarified and the prospect of the research is put forward.In the process of investigation,it is found that there are some problems in the application of situational teaching method in the course of "Fundamentals of Marketing" in secondary vocational schools.First,the form of situational teaching method is single and students have few opportunities to practice.Second,it is based on traditional teaching method and the situation is simple.Third,the situation is arbitrary and deviates from the teaching objective.Fourth,the situation is more interesting and does not fit in with the actual working environment;Fifth,the evaluation of situational teaching is single and untargeted.This paper analyzes the reasons from the three aspects of teachers,students and schools,and puts forward targeted optimization countermeasures:In terms of teachers,firstly,adhere to the theoretical and practical learning of situational teaching method to improve teaching ability;Second,create a variety of situations,present the whole process of the situation;Third,highlight the activity situation,pay attention to the cultivation of students’ practical ability;Fourth,the evaluation method is diversified and the language is targeted.In terms of students,first,enhance classroom discipline,improve learning efficiency;Second,actively participate in the situation,training comprehensive ability.In the aspect of school,firstly,the systematic training of situational teaching should be paid attention to.Secondly,make use of the campus situation effectively to improve students’ vocational ability;Third,improve the teacher management system.Further enrich and improve the secondary vocational school situational teaching method,for other majors and curriculum application of situational teaching method to provide reference.
