| The proposal of the concept of core literacy is an innovative and breakthrough point in the reform of basic education curriculum,injecting new vitality into the continuous promotion of basic education curriculum reform in China.The teaching of ideological and political courses in China has also been closely following the pace of educational reform and innovation.Based on the essence of ideological and political education,the nature of high school ideological and political courses,and the specific content of high school ideological and political courses,the four core competencies of high school ideological and political courses have been condensed.Public participation literacy is one of the four core competencies in high school ideological and political courses.As an important part of political literacy,the cultivation of students’ public participation literacy has always been a focus of ideological and political education.Many schools have conducted educational and teaching practices on the implementation of core competencies in the field of ideological and political education,but there are still some schools and teachers who do not realize the importance of cultivating public participation literacy.Through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,it was found that the cultivation of public participation literacy was not effectively implemented in the actual teaching process of high school ideological and political courses.This article is based on the relevant theories of public participation,combined with the current situation of cultivating public participation literacy among high school students,taking the textbook "Politics and the Rule of Law" as the starting point,to deeply analyze the problems in cultivating public participation literacy among high school students,analyze the reasons behind them,and propose targeted opinions and suggestions.The main body of the paper is divided into four parts: The first part elaborates on the relevant theories of public participation literacy,defines the relevant concepts of public participation,and analyzes its theoretical basis,characteristics,and content;The second part starts with the textbook "Politics and the Rule of Law",and conducts in-depth analysis from different perspectives of curriculum,teaching,and practical significance,exploring the important value of public participation literacy in subject teaching;The third part mainly investigates the current situation of cultivating public participation literacy among high school students,and analyzes the reasons based on this;The fourth part focuses on exploring strategies for cultivating high school students’ public participation literacy,which is the focus and foothold of this article.Based on the problems and underlying reasons that arise in cultivating high school students’ public participation literacy,targeted solutions are found to provide assistance and support for effectively cultivating high school students’ public participation literacy. |
