| High school ideological and political courses,as a key course in implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating talents in high school,play an irreplaceable role in cultivating students’ public participation literacy.The "High School Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards" clearly states that public participation literacy is an essential key character and ability for high school students to adapt to future social survival and development,and regards public participation literacy as one of the core competencies of the discipline.As the builders and successors of China’s socialist modernization country,exploring the cultivation of public participation literacy among high school students in ideological and political courses is currently a hot,key,and difficult issue in high school ideological and political subject teaching.In order to deeply explore the issue of cultivating students’ public participation literacy in high school ideological and political courses,the high school course "Politics and the Rule of Law" was selected to specifically explore the strategic issues of cultivating students’ political public participation literacy and rule of law public participation literacy.Using methods such as teacher-student questionnaire surveys,teacher interviews,and classroom observations,this study investigates and analyzes the current situation of cultivating students’ public participation literacy in the teaching of "Politics and the Rule of Law" in high school.The survey shows that overall,the teaching of "Politics and the Rule of Law" in high school plays a positive role in cultivating students’ public participation literacy,especially in playing an irreplaceable role in cultivating students’ political public participation literacy and rule of law public participation literacy.However,the survey also reveals that the "Politics and the Rule of Law" course still has the following main problems in cultivating students’ public participation literacy: in the teaching mode,there is still a focus on knowledge transfer,Insufficient participation of students in teaching activities;In terms of teaching content design,there is a lack of content for students to participate in teaching activities;In terms of teaching methods,there is a lack of ways and methods for students to participate in actual public politics and public rule of law in teaching;In terms of teaching evaluation,there is a lack of procedural evaluation of students’ participation in teaching activities,and the evaluation is still based on the degree of students’ mastery of knowledge.Based on the above issues and reasons,this paper focuses on exploring the connotation,characteristics,theoretical basis,and specific paths for cultivating students’ public participation literacy in the high school "Politics and the Rule of Law" course from four aspects: teaching mode,teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching evaluation.It also selects the teaching content of "Politics and the Rule of Law" course and designs specific teaching cases for cultivating students’ public participation literacy,Further validate the feasibility of cultivating teaching models,teaching methods,and teaching evaluations.The research results indicate that public participation literacy is an essential character and key ability for high school students to adapt to future social development and participate in future social construction.High school ideological and political course teachers need to comprehensively grasp the essence of public participation literacy,grasp the basic theoretical basis for cultivating students’ public participation literacy,fully understand the status and role of cultivating students’ public participation literacy,comprehensively grasp the basic strategies for cultivating students’ public participation literacy,and provide reference for the cultivation of students’ public participation literacy in the new era of high school politics and the rule of law course. |
