| With the gradual deepening of education and teaching reform in China,improving the social practice ability of high school students has become one of the important goals of high school teaching,among which public participation literacy is an important factor in improving social practice ability.The "Standards for Ideological and Political Courses in Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)" proposes that one of the core competencies of ideological and political courses in high schools is to cultivate students’ public participation literacy,in order to implement the education policies of the Party and the country,comply with the development situation of education and teaching reform.Cultivating students’ public participation literacy is beneficial for improving their social practice ability,enhancing their sense of social responsibility,and cultivating their spirit of dedication.However,the public participation literacy of high school students still needs to be improved.The high school ideological and political teaching module "Politics and the Rule of Law" covers a relatively comprehensive theoretical basis for public participation,which plays an important role in cultivating high school students’ public participation literacy.The main content of this article is divided into three parts.Firstly,elaborate on the concept and manifestation of public participation literacy,as well as the relevant theoretical basis,principles to be followed,and the importance of cultivating students’ public participation literacy in high school ideological and political education.Secondly,based on the relevant connotations and importance of cultivating public participation literacy,a survey questionnaire is designed to analyze the problems and reasons of high school students’ public participation literacy in the teaching process of "Politics and the Rule of Law".The problems include shallow cognition of high school students’ public participation,relatively indifferent emotions of public participation,insufficient willingness to participate in public participation,and insufficient practical ability of public participation;The reasons for these problems are the lack of public participation in teaching,the lack of flexible methods for cultivating public participation,the relatively single form of public participation in teaching,and the lack of practical education for public participation.Finally,feasible strategies for cultivating students’ public participation literacy in the teaching process of "Politics and the Rule of Law" are proposed from four aspects: teaching links,methods,platforms,and practical activities.These strategies include enriching teaching links and improving students’ awareness of public participation;Optimize teaching methods and enrich students’ public participation emotions;Building a teaching platform to cultivate students’ willingness to participate in public activities;Create practical activities to enhance students’ public participation ability,and provide reference for the teaching of high school ideological and political teachers,in order to enhance students’ public participation literacy,enhance their sense of social ownership,and enhance their social practice participation ability. |
