Sports education model is a kind of sports teaching model from game theory proposed by sports scholar Sidentop.It is to provide students with real and rich sports experience in school sports teaching.To help students become athletes with sports ability,sports culture and sports enthusiasm.The teaching concept of this model is highly consistent with the content of the Notice on Improving the level of School PE After-school Service and Promoting the Healthy Growth of Primary and Secondary School Students issued by the three ministries.In this paper,the sports education model is applied to the after-school extended basketball service of Wuyuanhe School in Haikou City.In order to solve the problems of the current after-school extended sports service teaching content,students’ physical fitness decline,low skill level,sports learning attitude,teamwork spirit,lack of motivation in sports situation and so on,it provides a new reform idea and a new model for the development of after-school extended sports service of Haikou City primary school.In this paper,literature,questionnaire,experiment,expert interview,mathematical statistics and other research methods,taking Haikou Wuyuanhe school after-school time delay basketball service two interest classes as experimental objects.Before and after the experiment,the national physical health,the special level of basketball and the students’ physical learning self-rating scale were tested.The research results:(1)Compared with the traditional physical education mode,the sports education mode has a significant difference in the improvement of 50 meters and one minute skipping rope;There was no significant difference between one-minute sit-ups and 50×8 meter round trips.The difference is that the sports education mode of sitting forward bending is more significant in girls than in traditional sports teaching mode,while there is no significant difference in boys.(2)Compared with the traditional physical education model,there are significant differences in promoting shooting,passing and dribbling,while there is no significant difference in improving girls’ point-shooting.(3)Compared with the traditional physical education mode,the sports education mode is more significant than the traditional physical education mode in improving students’ learning attitude,emotional expression,cooperative spirit and situational motivation.(4)Compared with traditional physical education model,there is no significant difference in improving students’ health behavior.(5)The experiment proves that the application of sports education mode in after-school delayed sports service can promote the all-round development of students.Research conclusion:(1)The sports education model is effective in improving the speed and agility of boys and in improving the speed,agility and flexibility of girls;However,it is not effective in improving the flexibility,waist and abdomen strength and endurance of boys and in improving the waist and abdomen strength and endurance of girls.(2)Sports education mode is conducive to improving students’ basketball special sports ability.(3)Sports education mode is conducive to improving students’ autonomous learning ability(4)Sports education mode is conducive to cultivating students’ cohesion and promoting the development of students’ friendship in the construction of team culture.(5)After-school extended sports service is an open teaching activity.The application of sports education model in after-school extended sports service can meet students’ demand for a relaxing and entertaining environment.
