Labor education is an important part of socialist education with Chinese characteristics.In the new era,under the guidance of the policy of "five educations" of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,labor education has become an important part of cultivating new talents of the era,which is of great significance for the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and plays an important role in cultivating all-round students.The Standards for Ideological and Political Courses in Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition and 2020 Revision)points out that ideological and political courses in high schools are key courses for implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people;The "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Colleges,Secondary and Primary Schools in the New Era" issued by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council also pointed out that labor education should be organically integrated into the teaching of various subjects,insisted on cultivating people with virtue,and clarified the importance of labor education.High school is a critical period for students to grow into talents,with the rapid development of networking and informatization,erroneous ideas such as not wanting to work,not working,and not loving labor erode students’ minds.As a moral education course,the high school ideological and political course can help students establish correct labor values,stimulate students to actively participate in labor,and promote the trend of respecting labor,respecting laborers,and cherishing the fruits of labor in the whole society.Sorting out the relevant literature at home and abroad,it is found that foreign research on labor education started earlier and achieved rich results,forming a relatively complete theoretical system.Through questionnaires and interviews,it was found that China’s understanding of labor education has improved,but it is weak in practice and cannot be truly implemented in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.To this end,this paper will carry out research from the following five aspects:The first part is an introduction,which consists of research background,research significance,research status,research methods,research innovation points and research deficiencies,etc.,which provides a basis and basis for the research of this paper.The second part is an overview of labor education in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools in the new era.This part mainly defines the concept of labor in the new era,labor education,and labor education in high school ideological and political courses,expounds the theoretical and practical basis of labor education in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses in the new era,and condenses the goals and characteristics of labor education in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses in the new era.The third part expounds the feasibility and implementation principles of labor education in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools in the new era.The feasibility was elaborated from three aspects: training objectives,teaching content and educational pathways.It is pointed out that the implementation principles should follow the law of high school growth and acceptance in the new era,the teaching law of ideological and political courses in high schools in the new era,the principle of adapting measures to local conditions and gradual progress,and the theoretical and practical principles of labor education.The fourth part analyzes the survey and its results,pointing out that there are many problems in labor education in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools in the new era.According to the analysis,there are problems in students,teaching content,teaching methods,evaluation mechanisms,and development methods.The analysis of the problem is mainly affected by factors such as insufficient understanding of the form of labor education in the new era,longterm constraints on examination-oriented education,lack of funds and guarantees for labor education,and lack of teaching mechanisms to adapt to labor education in the new era.The fifth part proposes optimization countermeasures for the above problems and causes.Including enriching the content of labor education in high school ideological and political courses,extending the implementation channels of labor education,improving and innovating labor education methods,combining classroom teaching with practical teaching,and improving the evaluation system of school labor education in the new era.Labor education is an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics and an indispensable part of school,family and social education.Based on the new era,this paper organically combines labor education with the teaching of high school ideological and political courses,responds to the needs of the times,helps the smooth development of labor education,and promotes the all-round development of high school students.
