The high school ideology and politics class is the main position and key course for strengthening secondary students’ ideological and moral education,implementing the mission of establishing moral education in schools,and implementing the strategy of the Central Committee of the Party for a strong education and a strong talent nation.In the context of continuously deepening the reform of education and teaching and better realizing the function of educating people in Civics and Political Science classes,how to improve the teaching level and enhance the teaching effect of Civics and Political Science classes is a realistic topic worth studying.Research-based learning is a teaching method stipulated in the Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform(for Trial Implementation)promulgated by the Ministry of Education.Its unique characteristics of autonomy,inquiry,practicality and openness focus on students’ overall development and ability enhancement,which is conducive to cultivating innovative talents needed in the new era and cultivating students’ ability of independent innovation and cooperation and practice.Research on research-based learning methods can promote teachers to change traditio nal teaching methods,guide and encourage students’ independent inquiry,improve students’ independent learning ability and innovation ability,and improve the quality of teaching in Civics and Political Science classes.This study focuses on the actual situation of implementing research-based learning in the teaching of secondary school ideology and politics classes at the present stage.Through questionnaires and interviews with students,the main problems in the concrete implementation are found,which are: the research process is formalized and the curriculum resources are insufficient;teachers do not provide enough guidance for research-based learning activities;students lack methods for implementing research-based learning;students relatively lack research-based Learning objectives,etc.In view of the above problems,we suggest four improvement strategies in terms of curriculum resources,teachers’ ability,learning methods and students’ ability,namely,strengthening the development of political resources and creating a diversified learning classroom;updating teachers’ educational and teaching concepts and improving professional guidance ability;focusing on optimizing students’ learning methods and cultivating the awareness of independent participation;cultivating students’ autonomy in knowledge construction and improving the ability of active participation. |
