The language of ancient poetry is concise and brilliant,which is deeply loved by the public and plays an important role in the cultivation of students’ core qualities.The selection and compilation of ancient poems in the primary school textbooks are in line with the law of students ’physical and mental development,and can be used as a resource to cultivate students’ language use,thinking ability,aesthetic creation and cultural confidence accomplishment.However,the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools does not give full play to the educational value of ancient poetry,and the teaching effect needs to be improved.In order to optimize the teaching effect of ancient poetry and implement the training objectives of core literacy,this study uses questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate the teaching status of ancient poetry in primary schools.The questionnaire is mainly distributed to students in the second and third grades.The survey focuses on the two dimensions of the learning attitude and the learning effect of ancient poetry.The interview focuses on primary school Chinese teachers,and focuses on the teaching design ideas of ancient poetry and the understanding of the core literacy.The survey results show that the following problems exist in the teaching of ancient poetry: the level of language application,the lack of specific reading guidance,the lack of independent thinking space,the aesthetic value of ancient poetry;the level of cultural confidence,the lack of the exploration of excellent traditional culture.The teaching strategy of the triple world is consistent with the teaching requirements of ancient poetry in primary schools,which is convenient for students to accept and teachers,and can realize the purpose of cultivating core qualities.The triple world teaching strategy is to develop students ’language literacy by reading poems and reading,developing the image of poetry by imagining pictures and connecting life,expanding students’ aesthetic vision and developing students ’aesthetic literacy by creating the situation and comparing reading,expanding interpretation and poetry activities,and developing students’ cultural confidence literacy.
