Intervention Study On The Community Integration Of The Landless Elderly In The ‘Village To Community’ Project

The landless elderly in "village to community" is a special group in the "village to community".Therefore,they are more dependent on the original lifestyle and more difficult to adapt to the new life.The strong land plot and the objective reality of poor adaptability of the elderly lead to their inability to quickly change their roles and form habits in line with the life of urban communities.This paper takes the landless elderly in G community of T Township in Northern Jiangsu as the research object,and uses group work intervention to help them solve the problems related to community integration.The author operationalizes the concept of community integration into three aspects: community communication integration,lifestyle integration and psychological integration.Through the investigation and interview of the community integration of landless elderly in "village to community",It is found that the landless elderly in G community have some problems in terms of community integration,such as the impact of intelligent lifestyle,alienation from the original social network and strong nostalgia in the village.Then,it analyzes the problems and needs of the community integration of the "village to house" landless elderly,designs the group work by using the professional method of social work,intervenes the selected group members for a total of 6 times,and then evaluates the intervention effect of the group work.The "village to community" landless elderly do not integrate into the community,do not have close community communication Unable to adapt to the community life,they have become close to the local residents of the community,actively participate in community activities,form a community activity team,adapt to the community lifestyle,and then improve the sense of community belonging.Many of them integrate themselves into the community and act as a member of the community.Therefore,it can be said that the intervention of group work has played a certain effect on the community integration of the landless elderly in the "village to community",and puts forward three suggestions: strengthening community publicity and education,promoting the transformation of lifestyle,building community communication platform,strengthening community communication connection,establishing social worker support platform,and promoting the integration of psychological identity.
