Group Work Intervention In Relocation Of The Elderly Community Participation Study

In order to achieve the strategic goal of being well-off in an all-round way and to solve the problem of survival and poverty of people living in areas with poor ecological environment for a long time,the state has actively implemented the policy of poverty alleviation and relocation in different places.Gansu Province actively responded to the policy of poverty alleviation and relocation by taking the villages and villagers with poor ecological environment and frequently affected by natural disasters as the key relocation objects.With the gradual promotion of the policy of poverty alleviation and relocation and the realization of the strategic goal of a comprehensive well-off society,the focus of the poverty alleviation work has shifted to helping the relocated object to "live stably,integrate quickly and become rich".Among the relocation groups,the problem of community integration of the elderly is particularly prominent,helping the elderly to integrate into the life after relocation is conducive to the stability of the community and society as a whole,but also related to the policy effect of poverty alleviation and relocation.In the actual work,it is found that in order to help the elderly relocate to integrate into the new community smoothly,we must first improve the initiative and enthusiasm of their community participation.Relocation of the elderly in the active community participation can expand social networks,increase the familiarity and understanding of the community,change the incorrect understanding of their own identity,so that they can more smoothly integrate into the new life after relocation.On this basis,the article takes the elderly in the X resettlement community in Lanzhou New area of Gansu Province as the research object,and randomly selects nearly 100 elderly people from the community to fill in the community participation questionnaire,and selects individual elderly people to conduct semi-structured interviews.In order to understand that there are difficulties and problems in community participation after poverty alleviation and relocation of the elderly in the new environment,these problems are mainly concentrated in the small number of participation,impure motivation of participation,lack of popularization of community activities,and so on.And from the relocation of the elderly subjective and objective reasons,family reasons and community reasons and other aspects of the problem analysis.According to the characteristics and problems of community participation of the elderly in different places,we choose to use the group work method to intervene,and analyze the needs of the elderly in poverty alleviation in different places on the basis of social support theory and cognitive behavior theory.a total of seven group activities were designed.Through the development of group activities,the relocation of the elderly in the social support network,their own identity awareness,understanding of the community and community participation,as well as participation ability and confidence have been improved to a certain extent.On the basis of group activities,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to optimize the community participation and community integration of the elderly from the three aspects of government,society and professional social work.
